Connect with CALS at Farm Tech Days
Planning to attend this year’s Wisconsin Farm Technology Day? If yes, be sure to make plans to connect with other members of the CALS community who will be there. This year’s event will be held at Ebert Enterprises in Algoma July 11-13.
A number of CALS/UW-Extension personnel will give presentations in the UW-Extension Education Station area, showcasing their research to thousands of visitors. The education station area also features displays about innovative ag technologies in the areas of: forage and crop production, water stewardship, farm management and more. CALS alumni, faculty, staff and students are invited to visit the Alumni Tent, co-hosted by CALS, the agriculture programs at UW-Platteville, UW-River Falls and the technical colleges of Wisconsin. There will be daily receptions at 1:00 p.m., and Dean Kate VandenBosch will attend Wednesday’s reception and give brief remarks.
And, finally, don’t miss the annual Farm Technology Days Picnic hosted by the Wisconsin Agricultural and Life Sciences Alumni Association (WALSAA). It is set for Wednesday, July 12 at Pagel’s Ponderosa Dairy, LLC from 4:30-7 p.m. Please register in advance here.
