Annual UW-Madison Showcase event – April 5
UW-Madison’s 18th annual improvement Showcase will take place on Wednesday, April 5 at Union South. Showcase provides a unique forum for UW faculty, staff and administrators to share with their peers and learn about good ideas to adapt for their own units.
To register and learn more about Showcase, visit quality.wisc.edu/showcase.
UW colleagues from across campus will be on hand to illustrate over 80 innovations and improvements through engaging posters and interactive break-out sessions.
UW-Madison Vice Chancellor for Finance and Administration, Laurent Heller, will deliver the keynote address “Reinvesting in UW-Madison – Leveraging Data for Strategic Decision-Making” at 11:15 a.m. in the Marquee Theatre.
Showcase is a free event, but please register in advance. You are welcome to attend all or portions of the program, which runs from 8 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Continental breakfast will be available throughout the morning.
Chairs, directors, managers and supervisors are encouraged to attend this year’s Showcase, and to invite their staff members to attend during work time. This will be a great opportunity to identify potential improvements that will benefit all work units.
