Global Health Symposium tackles global water issues – April 4
Join the Global Health Institute for the annual Global Health Symposium, held Tuesday, April 4 from 4:30 – 9 p.m. in the Health Sciences Learning Center.
This year’s keynote is about global water issues and features keynote speaker Tim Ford, Ph.D., a respected international water expert.
More than 50 members of the UW-Madison community will participate in oral and poster presentations of the local and global projects across academic disciplines. Their investigations delve into an array of medical, policy and environmental factors that influence health and wellness.
The evening will close with a panel discussion of refugees, resettlement and health, led by Karen Solheim, director for global health initiatives in the School of Nursing.
