The Office of the Provost is pleased to announce the 2016-17 competition for the Ira and Ineva Reilly Baldwin Wisconsin Idea Endowment. This competitive grant program, open to University of Wisconsin–Madison faculty, staff and students, is designed to foster public engagement and advance the Wisconsin Idea.
A couple of notes:
PREPROPOSALS ARE DUE TO THE CALS RESEARCH DIVISION BY NOON, MONDAY, DECEMBER 5, 2016 VIA WISPER INCLUDING ONE HARD COPY OF THE COVER SHEET (WITH ORIGINAL SIGNATURES) DELIVERED TO MICHELL SASS, AG HALL, ROOM 240.
The WISPER record should include all required signatures, a word version of the preproposal, and a budget form in excel format (attached).
Please review the Office of Research & Sponsored Programs website to insure that fringe benefit rates are calculated using the current rates. https://www.rsp.wisc.edu/rates/index.html
We will follow up with the PI and the department on any revisions or necessary modifications to the preproposals before they are submitted to the Provost’s Office.
The CALS Research Division will package all preproposal submissions from CALS, secure the Associate Dean for Research signature and deliver all applications to the Office of the Provost before the noon, December14 due date.
