Video series highlights changes and choices for land, water and people in the Yahara watershed

After over five years of research, the Water Sustainability and Climate project’s research team has learned a lot. “Changes and Choices in the Yahara” is a new mini-documentary series that showcases the major lessons they learned in their six research areas and how that knowledge can help build resilience for ecosystems and communities in the Yahara Watershed and beyond.

Funded by the National Science Foundation, the project focused on how to achieve water sustainability for current and future generations, given ongoing changes in climate, land use, and human demands. The research took place in Wisconsin’s Yahara Watershed, but its implications are applicable to many places in the Upper Midwest. Learn more at https://wsc.limnology.wisc.edu/.
