Upcoming wellness offerings: Meditation, Tai Chi and Qigong

The CALS Wellness Committee would like to highlight two upcoming wellness groups/offerings on the UW-Madison campus. One is for free meditation groups and the other is for Tai Chi and Qigong classes at a very reasonable price. Both are open to students, staff and faculty.

Free Meditation Groups:
There are 3 meditation groups will be restarting soon. All 3 groups are open to staff and students. All 3 groups start at 12 and last 45-50 minutes.
The Tuesday group is in 21 N Park Street Bldg., room 7045. That meeting will be restarting on Sept. 13
The Wednesday group is at Union South, see Today in The Union (TITU) for specific room each week. That meeting restarted on Sept 7.
The Thursday group is at Union South also. That meeting will be restarting on Sept 15.

Anyone interested in participating can meet with Bob McGrath ( individually or by coming to meetings 10 minutes early to meet with Bob. Most report that the meditation goes by quickly and that they enjoy meditating in a group setting, even though there is no interaction.
