Symposium to honor the life of Jim Crow – Sept. 23

Screen Shot 2016-08-01 at 11.32.04 AMMembers of the CALS community are invited to participate in an upcoming symposium to honor and celebrate the life of the late UW-Madison genetics professor James “Jim” Crow, who in 2016 would have turned 100.

The event, which runs 1 – 8:30 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 23 at the Ebling Symposium Center, includes an afternoon symposium with renowned speakers who will recall how Professor Crow influenced them in their work and their lives, followed by an evening reception, dinner, and program featuring former student and current Harvard University professor Daniel Hartl ’65, PhD’68 as the keynote speaker.
