We are excited to announce that the June 4 Saturday Science, Farms in Wisconsin, will focus on the science of all types of agriculture! We’ll explore the science of food production on big farms, small farms, urban farms, gardens, farm animals, dairy products and so much more!
We would be delighted to have you or someone from your group host an Exploration Station during the event from 10am-12pm. Exploration stations are typically hands-on activities for families to do and learn more about a topic, and they are a great way to showcase your work. This is part of our Saturday Science series, a free, monthly program that brings the science that is happening at UW-Madison to the public. Presenters that host an exploration station will lead a short hands-on activity to showcase their work to 400-800 participants, mostly families and children. You can find more information at http://discovery.wisc.edu/saturdayscience.
