Faculty, staff, students and their parents are invited to join UW System alumni from across the state on April 13 for UW Day at the Capitol, an opportunity to speak with legislators in support of the UW System.

This event provides an chance for faculty and staff to share specific examples and personal stories of how teaching, research and outreach impact Wisconsin communities.

Legislative items of particular interest to CALS:

• Thanking legislators for their support of the recently passed agricultural research land sales legislation
• Asking for support in the next biennial budget for UW capital projects, which we hope will include renovations for the Walnut Street Green Houses (pending approval by the UW-Madison Campus Planning Committee and the UW Regents)
