Entomology professor Claudio Gratton makes an appearance in a 2016 Wisconsin Film Festival selection called “A Ghost in the Making,” a documentary about conservation photographer Clay Bolt’s quest to find the rare rusty patched bumble bee that leads Bolt to the UW-Madison Arboretum. The documentary, which also includes footage with the Arboretum’s native plant gardener Susan Carpenter, is being shown as part of the “Mad About Madison” group of Wisconsin short films.
