Encourage your students to participate in two upcoming career development events

Faculty and advisers, please encourage your students to consider attending the following two career development opportunities:

On Tuesday, Mar. 1, there will be a Mock Interview Clinic in 30-minute sessions from 1:00-4:30 p.m. in BioCommons at Steenbock Library. At the clinic, students will have chance to get feedback and coaching on responses in practice interviews with employers. Students can register for the event through BuckyNet.

Students also have the opportunity to participate in an Etiquette Dinner on Thursday, Mar. 10 from 6:00-7:30 p.m. in Carson’s Gully at Carson’s Dining Hall. At the dinner students will learn from a professional etiquette speaker and network with employer sponsors. The event is free but requires a $10 reservation fee for a three-course meal. The $10 is refunded upon arrival at dinner. The dress code for the event is business professional (suits, blazers, slacks, button down shirts, dress shoes, etc.) To attend, an RSVP is required: http://go.wisc.edu/974yy6. Registration is confirmed when $10 reservation payment is dropped off at: CALS and FISC students: 116 Agricultural Hall, CALS Office of Academic Affairs.
