On Feb. 9 the Association of Public and Land-grant Universities held its second annual APLU Congressional Creamery Social in Washington, D.C. to celebrate education, research and entrepreneurship taking place at agricultural colleges where learning takes place “from the cow to the cone.”

Attendees were treated to ice cream and cheese made at the campus creameries of 14 participating APLU universities, including UW-Madison.

The UW Office of Federal Relations helped facilitate the university’s participation in this popular event.
