Blue Sky Science: Chris Kucharik explains the Yahara Watershed

Seven-year-old Jackson Sauer wanted to know: What and where is the Yahara Watershed?

Sauer’s question was recently answered by agronomy professor Chris Kucharik, PI of the Yahara 2070 project, via the Blue Sky Science video posted below.

The Blue Sky Science video series is a collaboration of the Wisconsin State Journal and the Morgridge Institute for Research. The production team solicits questions online and from visitors to the Discovery Building, and then seek out UW experts for answers. The CALS community has fielded a number of questions for the project, including “Why do hissing cockroaches hiss?” and “Do trees get viruses?
