Registration for Showcase 2016

A message from the UW Office of Quality Improvement’s Bruce Harville:

I hope Showcase 2016 is on your calendars for the morning of Wednesday, March 16 at Union South (one month earlier than last year). As you know, Showcase is a great venue for making contacts and exchanging ideas. If you haven’t done so, please register to attend Showcase at http://bit.ly/Showcase2016.

This is also the time to plan a Showcase poster that highlights improvements your unit has implemented in the last year or two.  Have you…

  • Streamlined a process?
  • Applied a new tool or technology?
  • Developed a new service or program?
  • Enhanced customer service?
  • Implemented a “best practice?”
  • Changed your mission or organizational structure?
  • Created an Educational Innovation?
  • Put into practice any other innovative ideas?

If you answered “yes” to any of the above, make this the year you decide to share your experience with a few hundred UW-Madison colleagues by exhibiting a poster at Showcase, and let us know by filling out our short Poster Exhibit Interest Questionnaire http://bit.ly/Showcase2016PosterQ.

Creating a poster is simple with our time-tested poster template and poster workshop, which is offered at four times, all in 187 Bascom Hall:

Thursday, January 28, 11:00-12:30
Thursday, February 4, 12:00-1:30
Monday, February 8, 1:00-2:30
Tuesday, February 16, 10:00-11:30

To register for one of these workshops, please go to: http://bit.ly/Showcase2016Workshops.   There is also quite a bit of information about creating a poster for Showcase on our website at:http://quality.wisc.edu/showcase-exhibitor-resources.htm.

Check for updates on our website at http://quality.wisc.edu/showcase.htm and on the Showcase Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/UwMadisonShowcase, where you can also find examples of recent years’ posters in the photo albums.
