It’s that time of year again and the UW-Madison agroecology program is looking forward to hosting their 3rd annual barn dance! All are invited to take part in an evening of dancing, live music provided by the band Thirsty Roots with caller Catherine Baer, and of course delicious food and drink.
We’ll be serving up bowls of hearty stew, tasty bread, and apple cider – all included with the price of admission! Beer will be available by donation, tasty home baked treats will be on sale, and in true Wisconsin fashion we’ll hold a meat raffle throughout the evening!
On-farm camping is available for free to those who want to make a night of it. (S’more making encouraged!)
Come join us at the Cates Family Farm on Saturday, October 10th. All proceeds benefit the research projects of students in the agroecology program. It’ll be night to remember!
