Invitation to Diversity Office fall events

Dear Colleague,

I’m inviting you to join me for a series of fall events hosted by the Office of the Vice Provost and Chief Diversity Officer. All events are free of charge and open to everyone! Please mark your calendars and register today for the following events:

In partnership with the Madison Chapter of 100 Black Men, we will host the Fifth Annual Mentoring, Mingling, Mama’s Treats reception on Thursday evening, Sept. 10, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in the East Atrium and Plenary Room of Grainger Hall. The reception is an opportunity for us to connect, network, and forge new relationships while sharing food, tips and resources to make this year one to remember. This event offers opportunities for social interaction and information sharing among a group of younger and older African-American men with similar career interests. With this year’s theme of “Intergenerational Mentoring”, we hope to initiate cross-generational relationships. Everyone is welcome.

Join us in celebrating our work toward making the UW-Madison a world-class institution preparing students for global success and the opening  of the World Music Festival.
