The UW’s next Massive Open Online Course (MOOC), titled Forests and Humans: From the Midwest to Madagascar, starts on Sept 30.
Over the course of this 4-week online learning experience, participants will explore some of the world’s most interesting forests—and meet scientists working to understand the amazing diversity of these forests and how they support human life.
This free course provides an overview of the geography, ecology, and economic importance of the world’s forest biomes. Participants will learn how climate influences vegetation, and in-turn how forests impact global climate. This entry was posted in Events by Nicole. Bookmark the permalink.
