Village Health Project featured in Big Ten Network segment

Last Wednesday, three UW student organizations were highlighted on a segment on Forward Motion on the Big Ten Network. One of the organizations featured was the Village Health Project, a group formed by students in 2006 after a CALS trip to Uganda. After returning to the U.S., the students wanted to make a difference in lives of Ugandans. The Village Health Project has been involved in projects that include the construction of rain water collection tanks, assisting in jewelry sales by AIDS patients and aiding a primary school and the surrounding community through the construction of buildings and gardens.
