John Panuska, distinguished faculty associate in biological systems engineering and Extension specialist, has been honored with the Donald R. Peterson Technology Transfer Award. The award is in recognition of his innovative display the 2014 Wisconsin Farm Technology Days. In his Irrigation Water Management exhibit, Panuska demonstrated and explained the benefits of the Wisconsin Irrigation Scheduling Program, which helps producers track the water crops receive.
The Donald R. Peterson Technology Transfer Award recognizes the outstanding educational effectiveness and impact of an interactive display at Wisconsin Farm Technology Days. It was established in honor of Don Peterson, CALS professor and associate dean and long-time General Manager of Wisconsin Farm Progress Days.
