The next CALS Communicators Group meeting will take place on Tuesday, Feb. 10 from 9 – 10:30 a.m. in room 2321 of the DeLuca Biochemical Sciences Building (the biochemistry department’s faculty meeting room).
The meeting will explore the question “What makes a good story?” in a variety of contexts, including magazine features, news stories, eCALS articles and social media posts.
The meeting will be divided into two parts. It’ll start with presentations on the topic by a panel of editors. Next, attendees will be given the opportunity to continue the discussion with individual editors and ask questions about their own story ideas—how to find them, develop them, write them and/or pitch them.
