Faculty, staff, postdocs and grad students can now share expertise through Badger Talks workshops

Badger Talks, the campus-wide talent bureau for UW-Madison, has announced a new opportunity for faculty, staff, postdocs and graduate students to share expertise even more widely across Wisconsin. In addition to presentations, you are now invited to include any workshops you may offer as part of your Badger Talks profile.

What can a workshop look like?

A workshop can be defined as an interactive educational session designed to engage participants in hands-on learning, skill-building or collaborative problem solving. Workshops are typically more immersive and participatory than traditional presentations and invite skill-building, creative thinking, professional development, community engagement, technical training, handy tips with takeaway resources, etc.

How to participate:

  • New presenters are welcome to use this form to join the program and add talks AND/OR workshops.
  • If you are already one of the 600+ UW presenters in Badger Talks, then complete this form to add workshop(s) to your profile.

Timeline:

The workshop track will officially launch on June 15, so workshop registrations should be submitted by June 11 to be included in the initial rollout.
