CALS APC restructuring approved

The plan to restructure the College’s Academic Planning Council was approved by the University Committee on December 15, 2014. This was the last step in the governance process after CALS faculty voted overwhelmingly in favor of the plan.

Implementation of the plan will begin in Spring of 2015 when new APC members are elected. The Council will grow from 8 faculty members to 12 and have 2 academic staff with voting rights. Terms will be 3 years and staggered, a quorum will be 8 members.
