Shawn Kaeppler appointed Campbell-Bascom Professor

Shawn Kaeppler, Professor of Agronomy, has been selected as the Campbell-Bascom Professor. The professorship was established by the Campbell Soup Company and is awarded to faculty in CALS who have made outstanding contributions in the field of agriculture. This includes, but is not limited to, those working in the areas of food science, nutrition, horticulture, agronomy, plant pathology, biological systems engineering, bacteriology, biochemistry, and genetics. The Campbell-Bascom Professorship provides an annual auxiliary allocation that can be used in support of scholarly activities, including supplies, equipment, research assistants, travel to professional meetings, and other research costs.
