Annual benefit enrollment period begins next Monday

The Annual Benefit Enrollment Period, which runs October 6 – 31, 2014 this year, is an annual opportunity for eligible employees to make changes to select benefit plans. This year employees can enroll in, make changes to, or cancel the following plans:

  • State Group Health Insurance
    (New in 2015 High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP) with Health Savings Account (HSA) for eligible employees.)
  • VSP Vision Insurance
  • Dental Wisconsin
  • EPIC Benefits+
  • Flexible Spending Account (FSA)/Employee Reimbursement Account (ERA)
  • Employees currently insured with Individual & Family Life may increase the level of their benefit. No new enrollment for those not already covered under this plan.

If you take no action during the Annual Benefit Enrollment period, nearly all of your benefits will continue in 2015. However, note that you must re-enroll in the Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA)/Employee Reimbursement Account (ERA) program every year to participate, and you should review other plan changes to determine whether you should take any action.
