In an effort to keep the UW–Madison campus community fully informed about innovations and progress on the HR Design project, the next set of quarterly informational sessions is slated for June 10 and 12.
The UW-Madison’s HR Design is a campuswide effort to build a new, more effective personnel system that better serves the needs of the university, its employees and the citizens of Wisconsin as a model public university in the 21st century. Key elements of HR Design received legislative approval in late April to begin implementation on July 1, 2015.
Project leaders at the sessions will discuss the revised timeline of the HR Design strategic plan and provide information and progress statuses on areas of interest that include new employee onboarding, performance management, and recruitment assessment and selection tools. Time will be reserved for questions and answers.
Sessions are scheduled for:
- Tuesday, June 10, 1:30 – 3:00 p.m. Gordon Dining & Event Center. This session will be streamed online at hrdesign.wisc.edu. Sessions will be facilitated in Spanish, Tibetan, Mandarin Chinese and Hmong.
- Thursday, June 12, 9:00 – 10:30 a.m. Microbial Sciences – Ebling Symposium Center. Session will be facilitated in English only.
- Thursday, June 12, 11 p.m. – 12:30 a.m. Health Sciences Learning Center. Sessions will be facilitated in Spanish, Tibetan, Mandarin Chinese and Hmong.
All university employees are welcome to attend without loss of pay. Please schedule with your supervisor if you wish to attend.
