Alumni and friends of the University of Wisconsin-Madison College of Agricultural and Life Sciences will enjoy a good old fashioned barn dance on June 28 to celebrate the college’s quasquicentennial—otherwise known as the 125th anniversary.
Hosted by Crane Farms in Burlington, Wis., the event will feature a fish fry, hot beef sandwiches, veggie burgers, chips, baked beans, homemade desserts and refreshments.
Entertainment will be provided by the Miller Rhythm and Brews Revue, along with a DJ playing classic country and some polka tunes. Silent auction items will be on display for bidding throughout the evening.
Proceeds for the event will go to the CALS to support the College’s education, research and outreach programs. Tickets are $25 in advance or $30 at the door, and cover entertainment, dinner, desserts and refreshments. The event will run from 5–11 p.m. with dinner from 5–7 p.m.
Crane Farms is located at 29320 31st St in Burlington, Wis. The college thanks the alumni and members of the board of visitors who are helping make this event possible.
