Women in Science and Engineering program seeking grant applications

WISELI’s Celebrating Women in Science and Engineering Grant Program is now accepting grant applications for the 2014-2015 academic year. The application deadline is June 13. 

This program provides funds to departments, programs, centers, or student groups who wish to:

  • increase the representation of  women scientists and engineers in seminar/colloquium series,
  • increase awareness and generate discussion of issues/concerns important to women scientists and engineers,
  • learn about the history and/or status of women in science and engineering, and/or
  • create new workshops, symposia, lecture series, or similar events in line with WISELI’s mission to promote the participation and advancement of women in science and engineering.

Support for the program comes from CALS, the Gaylord Nelson Institute for Environmental Studies, the College of Letters & Science, the School of Pharmacy, the School of Medicine & Public Health, the School of Veterinary Medicine, and the College of Engineering.
