Public USDA Climate Hubs Webinar this Friday

We invite you to a webinar to explain the purpose, structure and background of the USDA Regional Climate Hubs and to provide an opportunity for you to ask questions following last week’s announcement of the Hub locations.

Purpose: This webinar is intended for all stakeholders, cooperators, and others interested in learning more about USDA’s Climate Hubs. Please distribute broadly to those engaged in climate change research, outreach, forecasting, or otherwise who may be interested in learning more about the Climate Hubs.

Background: Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack announced last week the locations of seven Regional Hubs for Risk Adaptation and Mitigation to Climate Change.  The Climate Hubs will build on the capacity within USDA to deliver science-based knowledge and practical information to farmers, ranchers and forest landowners to support decision-making related to climate change across the country.
