This is a reminder of the approaching deadlines for two outreach grants: 1) the Ira and Ineva Reilly Baldwin Wisconsin Idea Endowment grants and 2) the Morgridge Match Grant Program.
The Baldwin Wisconsin Idea Endowment grants support collaborative efforts involving partnerships between UW-Madison faculty, staff and students and community and off-campus organizations to extend and apply our research, education and clinical knowledge to help solve problems. Details can be found at http://www.provost.wisc.edu/baldwin/. The deadline for pre-proposals to your dean’s/director’s office is noon on Wednesday, January 29. Questions may be addressed to Eden Inoway-Ronnie at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Morgridge Match Grant Program, administered through the Morgridge Center for Public Service, provides funding for projects that focus on engaged scholarship (academically-based service learning and/or community-based research). Details can be found at http://morgridge.wisc.edu/faculty/matchingfunds/index.html. Spring 2014 will be the last call for this grant program. The deadline for proposals is 5 pm on Friday, February 14. Questions may be addressed to Randy Wallar at email@example.com.
