Wild, wooly and a little chilly at UW’s Sheep Shearing School

This past weekend the UW-Madison Sheep Program hosted their annual Beginning Sheep Shearing School, sharing lots of photos on the program’s Facebook Page along the way. Demand for the training, led by Joe Huber, was strong. All 20 “seats” filled up, and many other interested parties had to be turned away. Despite the cold weather, all participants showed up for both days of the training, and the group managed to shear over 200 head of sheep over the course of the weekend.
