Only a drill: EMTs train for large-scale farm emergency at Marshfield research station

disasterA farm can be a very dangerous place. If you don’t believe that, read the scenario of a large-scale farm emergency drill carried out by central Wisconsin emergency responders at the Marshfield Ag Research Station. Electrocution, asphyxiation, heart attack, road accidents, tramplings by cows—Hollywood couldn’t come up with a better, or rather, worse, mix of emergencies. First responders from the Stratford, McMillan, Lincoln and Marshfield fire and rescue departments and Stratford police participated.
