Slow Food UW will hold it’s first lunchtime cafe of the new school year on Wednesday, Sept. 18.
The SFUW Cafe, a student run, not for profit weekly eatery, “strive(s) to offer locally sourced, sustainable food on the University of Wisconsin Madison campus for very affordable and transparent prices.” The cafe is located downstairs in The Crossing, 1127 University Avenue (corner of Charter). It will be open from 11:30 am to 2 pm on Wednesdays for the rest of the semester.

Peaches, Cream cheese, the Freshest Basil, Balsamic Drizzle on homemade challah
Turkey, Carrot-top pesto, pepperjack, roasted tomato on homemade challah
Corn Relish on a bed of mixed greens
Green bean salad with broccoli and cauliflower
