Back to School: CALS welcomes largest incoming class on record

Last Friday, CALS welcomed approximately 600 new students to the college during CALS New Student Orientation. Due to the size of the incoming class–the largest on record–two concurrent orientation sessions were held in 125 Ag Hall and the auditorium of the Genetics/Biotech Center building. Afterward, students, their advisors and UP&S staff gathered for ice cream on Henry Mall, which was closed to traffic for the special event.

Official stats about the size and makeup of the class will be available on the 10th day of class.
