Three generations of UW turfgrass science

Three generations of UW turf scientists were in attendance last week when the O.J. Noer turfgrass research facility hosted the Wisconsin Turfgrass Association’s annual field day. Soil science professors emeritus J.R. Love and Wayne Kussow stopped by to have lunch chat with friends from the industry, and pose for this photo with Doug Soldat, associate professor of soil science and Extension turfgrass specialist. Love founded the UW turfgrass program in the 1960s.
