WALSAA seeks nominations for Board of Directors

WALSAA is looking for Board of Director nominations. Elections will take place at this year’s annual meeting held in conjunction with the WALSAA Football Fire-Up. Directors elected by the membership must be alumni of the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences and WALSAA annual or lifetime members. Directors serve three-year terms and can serve no more than two consecutive terms – six years total.

WALSAA board members work to support the connection of students, faculty and alumni to the College.  To serve the organization, board members are expected to attend quarterly meetings and actively serve on at least one committee.  Committee work includes selecting scholarship recipients, planning events like the Farm Technology Days Picnic and Fire-Up and recruiting new lifetime members.
