UW’s Collegiate Farm Bureau to serve up local foods for Ag Day on Campus

Members of the Collegiate Farm Bureau at UW-Madison are hosting the third annual Ag Day on Campus this Wednesday, April 24 to give UW students, staff and faculty an opportunity to meet some of the farmers and agriculturalists that help produce the nation’s food. The event runs 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. in Library Mall.

This year the UW’s Collegiate Farm Bureau has partnered with the University Club and three Wisconsin farms to offer free samples and a special breakfast and lunch menu featuring local products at the University Club, located on Library Mall at 803 State Street.

The special menu includes Pork Belly Eggs Benedict, Wisconsin European-Style Continental Breakfast, Striped Bass Vitruvian Farms Salad and Caprice Flat Bread Pizza.

Featured products include cheese from Crave Brothers Farmstead Cheese, greens from Vitruvian Farms and pork from Uphoff Farms.
