CALS Dean Kate VandenBosch will be the featured speaker at this week’s Wednesday Nite @ the Lab, set for March 27 from 7 – 8:15 pm in room 1111 of the Genetics/Biotech Building, located at 425 Henry Mall.
Here’s the WN@TL website’s description of her talk, titled “Growing the Future: Strategic Planning in the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences”: Kathryn VandenBosch, plant geneticist and the new dean of the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences (CALS), will give us a look at what’s on the horizon for the university’s land-grant college. Wisconsin’s land and water are resources for food and fuels and fibers –the stuff of our lives and, for many of us, our livelihoods. For over a century, researchers at CALS have pioneered ways to steward those resources in response to the changing needs and aspirations of Wisconsinites. Let’s see what’s coming for the decades ahead. This entry was posted in Events, Highlights by firstname.lastname@example.org. Bookmark the permalink.
