Unleash curiousity. Call for proposals: Wisconsin Science Festival

Planning is underway for the third annual Wisconsin Science Festival (WSF), to be held September 26–29 in Madison, around the state and perhaps in your hometown. The festival will welcome people of all ages to look, listen, feel, touch, taste, discover and unleash their curiosities. Through interactive exhibits, handson workshops, lectures, demonstrations and conversations with leading researchers and creative thinkers, festival-goers will experience the wonders of all aspects of the sciences, arts and more like never before.

If you have a creative idea or the ability to connect your Wisconsin community with cutting-edge innovation, this is the place for you!

Building on last year’s phenomenally successful event, which attracted more than 18,000 people from all around Wisconsin and 16 different states, the 2013 festival will again go beyond the expected to explore revolutionary innovation — from the prehistoric to the futuristic and from the cosmic to the nanoscopic.

The festival will boast hundreds of presenters at more than 150 different events throughout Madison and around the state. With growing enthusiasm for this multiday spectacle, we want to generate even more excitement around science, creativity and exploration by inviting new and existing events to become affiliated with the festival. Get involved with one of the most exciting new events in Wisconsin and unleash your curiosity!

How You Can Participate — Submit your proposal by March 22 to receive a free WSF contributor t-shirt!
