In memory of Agricultural Journalism Professor Emeritus Fritz Albert, who passed away on Sept. 16, the Department of Life Sciences Communication has posted a copy of his 1989 film The First Century: College of Agricultural and Life Sciences. which he created as part of the CALS centennial celebration. As the film’s narration closes, “Where we’ve come from, what values need to be protected as we move into the future. There is of course no way to tell the story, all that has happened in 100 years leading to what is now the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences. The College is a community of people and ideas–teachers, students, researchers–a setting for that fearless sifting and windowing in search of the truth which is the Wisconsin Idea.”This entry was posted in Around CALS by .
