One Acre Fund (OAF) UW Madison Chapter is a student organization sponsored by the non-profit, One Acre Fund (www.oneacrefund.org). They help subsistence farmers in Africa double their yields and income by providing access to high quality seeds, fertilizer and training to villages in Africa one acre at a time.

The UW OAF group aims to raise awareness on campus on issues surrounding international development and sustainable agriculture. They host special seminars from UW professors to help understand the issues, constraints and pose possible solutions for alleviating poverty in developing countries.
