Campus historian John W. Jenkins died on Oct. 23. Among the many projects that he carried out during his career was A Centennial History: A History of the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He researched and wrote in conjunction with the college’s centennial celebration. That book begins with events that led up to the establishment of CALS in 1889 and continues through the tenure of Dean Glenn Pound (Dean Leo Walsh, Pounds successor, makes it into the epilogue). This entry was posted in Milestones by .
