“Most beautiful chimney” gets a facelift

We don’t know who votes, but apparently the smokestack affixed to the Ag Bulletin Building, located between Hiram Smith Hall and the soils building, is “the most beautiful of the 19th-century chimneys left on campus” (according to this entry in Jim Feldman’s  The buildings of the University of Wisconsin). Campus masons have been a work the last couple of weeks to make sure it stays that way.
