Plant Sciences Students Host Symposium on Sept. 28th

The University of Wisconsin-Madison Plant Sciences Graduate Student Council (PSGSC) is delighted to announce its 2012 Plant Sciences Symposium, “Emerging Trends and Paradigm Shifts in Plant Breeding.” This on-campus event will take place on Friday, September 28, in Varsity Hall of Union South. A webcast of the event will also be available to anyone who cannot physically attend. Registration is free and open to all, but is required for attendance and/or access to the webcast.

Speakers this year include Drs. Jose Crossa (CIMMYT), Patrick Schnable (Iowa State University), Kevin Folta (University of Florida), Andrew Bent (University of Wisconsin), Molly Jahn (University of Wisconsin), and a Pioneer representative.
