Learn about new Wisconsin Energy Institute at Energy Town Hall – July 20

On behalf of the Wisconsin Energy Institute, I invite you to participate in an Energy Town Hall for UW-Madison faculty and staff. The town hall will take place from 1:30 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. on Friday, July 20, 2012, in the H.F. DeLuca Forum at the Wisconsin Institutes for Discovery. This event is open to all faculty and staff at UW-Madison who have an interest in energy research and education.

This town hall is your opportunity to ask questions about the new Wisconsin Energy Institute building and a new organizational structure to catalyze interdisciplinary energy research at UW-Madison. Speakers at this event include:

  • Paul M. DeLuca, Provost
  • Paul Peercy, Dean, College of Engineering
  • Kathryn VandenBosch, Dean, College of Agricultural and Life Sciences
  • Professor Michael Corradini, Energy Institute Faculty Governance Chair

Refreshments will be served following the meeting at 3 p.m.

To help us determine the number of attendees, please RSVP by July 6th at the link below. A webcast (live and recorded) will be available, so if you cannot attend in person, please RSVP if you would like to receive the link to the webcast as well as future updates about the Wisconsin Energy Institute.

We hope to include as many faculty and staff across campus as possible in this discussion, so please forward this invitation to your colleagues at UW-Madison.

Paul M. DeLuca, Jr., Provost
