By now I am sure you are aware that the campus announced a Critical Compensation Fund last week. In the guidelines provided by Paul DeLuca and Darrell Bazzell, deans have been granted authority to conduct a salary adjustment exercise for target equity, retention, market influences and exceptional performing members of their schools and colleges. This will not involve across-the-board increases. I am currently reviewing the campus guidelines and working with the staff in administration to outline the processes we will follow within CALS. The campus guidelines vary slightly between faculty, academic staff, limited appointees and classified staff, so our process for each group will reflect those differences.
We expect to have complete guidelines for faculty, academic staff, limited appointees and classified staff developed and available no later than the end of July.
