Three of seven individuals elected as Fellows of the Wisconsin Academy of Arts and Sciences this year are from CALS. They include author and professor emeritus Jerry Apps, plant geneticist and former CALS Dean Molly Jahn, and communications scholar and life sciences communication professor Dietram Scheufele. Fellows are elected for their extraordinary levels of accomplishment in their fields as well as a lifelong commitment to intellectual discourse and public service, the academy says. The 2012 fellows will be honored at a ceremony on Oct. 21.This entry was posted in Awards and honors by . Bookmark the permalink.
