At ice cream school, avocado and bacon are flavors of the day

Bacon ice cream is exceptional. Avocadoes turn out to be outstanding performers in frozen desserts. That’s the kind of lessons learned in the annual Ice Cream Short Course, presented once a year by the CALS food science department.
