John Klatt will be returning to CALS Office of Undergraduate Programs and Services (UP&S ) on Nov. 1 in the newly created position of Assistant Dean for Student Development. In this role, he will oversee co-curricular programming (including serving as Honor Dean and advising several CALS student organizations), coordinate college-wide advising activities and direct CALS Career Services.
Klatt comes to CALS from his current position as Administrative Program Specialist in the Office of Academic Planning in the College of Letters and Science. Before taking that job he served for five years in UP&S as Student Services Coordinator, where he was responsible for student leadership programs and career development. Klatt holds a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology and Counseling Psychology from the UW-Madison.
In his new role, he will join the UP&S leadership team alongside Assistant Dean Tom Browne, John Ferrick, Ted Halbach, and Interim Associate Dean Sarah Pfatteicher.This entry was posted in Teaching & Advising by . Bookmark the permalink.
