Be sure to include CALS stories in The Year of the Wisconsin Idea

More than 100 years ago the Wisconsin Idea—UW-Madison’s unique commitment to sharing knowledge to improve lives everywhere—came into being. To celebrate this milestone, campus has designated 2011-2012 The Year of The Wisconsin Idea. No part of the UW system can lay greater claim to this way of doing business than can CALS. So as the events and activities that celebrate this milestone get under way, please do your part to make sure that our contributions get their share of attention.

Here’s how you can share Wisconsin Idea story and your personal connection to UW-Madison:

  • Tag your Wisconsin Idea‑related event on the UW-Madison calendar of events www.today.wisc.edu using the tag Wisconsin Idea
  • Submit your work to the Wisconsin Idea In Action database at wisconsinidea.wisc.edu
  • Follow @WisIdea on Twitter
Tweet your own story with #wisidea
  • Use the Year of the Wisconsin Idea logo
  • (Coming soon) Post your favorite Wisconsin Idea story at wisconsinidea.wisc.edu (follow the Year of the Wisconsin Idea link). Urge your partners and students to do the same
