Dave Thomas named Fellow of American Society of Animal Science

Dave Thomas, Professor of Sheep Management and Genetics in the Department of Animal Sciences, was conferred the title of Fellow in the American Society of Animal Science (ASAS) at an award ceremony on July 11 during the society’s annual meeting in New Orleans. The recognition was based on Thomas’ research, outreach, and teaching programs in sheep management and genetics and his service to ASAS during his 34-year academic career.
